I have opened this new website to display samples of my artwork.<\/p>\n
I work at the moment primarily with color pencil and with graphite\/charcoal.<\/p>\n
With color pencils<\/a> I’ve focused so far mostly on still lifes. I use burnishing (heavy pressure with a blunt point) and brushed solvent techniques to get a more smooth, painterly look as compared to the usual grainy texture of color pencils.<\/p>\n With the graphite\/charcoal I do still lifes but also portraits and works with other themes, particularly spaceflight.
